IMPACT Dance Company, housed out of M.A. Dance Project under the direction of Marianne Hakanson, is a local non-profit, youth dance company for ages 7-18. Dancers have the opportunity to perform at local festivals, travel to different cities to take classes from the best choreographers known and participate in competitions. The goal of IMPACT Dance Company is to share the diverse talent and arts to the local community with performances. IMPACT Dance Company helps establish dancers to begin to use their team work skills, creative thinking and appreciation for the art itself. IMPACT Dance Company also nourishes dancers and helps build self confidence skills, as well as leadership skills. Some of this and past years performances include: Austin Trail of Lights, Cedar Park Heritage Festival, H-E-B Home for the Holidays, Local Church Festivals and Local Shopping Center Grand Openings; just to name a few.
